1. Introduction.
   These Terms And Conditions (these “Terms” or these “Website Terms And Conditions”) contained herein on this webpage, shall govern your use of this website, PreLeague.com, including all pages within this website (collectively referred to herein below as “PreLeague”). These Terms apply in full force and effect to your use of PreLeague and by using PreLeague, you expressly accept all terms and conditions contained herein in full. 2. Intellectual Property Rights.
   Other than content you own, which you may have opted to include on PreLeague, under these Terms, PreLeague and/or its licensors own all rights to the intellectual property and material contained in PreLeague, and all such rights are reserved.
   
   You are granted a limited license only, subject to the restrictions provided in these Terms, for purposes of viewing the material contained on PreLeague. All trade marks reproduced on PreLeague which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website.

   In these Website Terms And Conditions, “Your Content” shall mean any display name, username, text data, numeric data, entry data, images or other material you make available for public display, where public display is defined as any PreLeague account information not set on a private setting. With respect to Your Content, by displaying Your Content publicly, you grant PreLeague a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, translate and distribute it in any and all media.
   
   Your Content must be your own and must not be infringing on any third party’s rights. PreLeague reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from PreLeague at any time, and for any reason, without notice.
   
5. No warranties.
   This Website, PreLeague.com, is provided “as is,” with all faults, and PreLeague makes no express or implied representations or warranties, of any kind related to PreLeague or the materials contained on PreLeague. Additionally, nothing contained on PreLeague shall be construed as providing consult or advice to you.
   
6. Limitation of liability.
   In no event shall PreLeague, nor any of its employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of PreLeague, whether such liability is under contract, tort or otherwise, and PreLeague, including its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of PreLeague.

   You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent PreLeague from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising out of or in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

   If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
   
9. Variation of Terms.
   PreLeague is permitted to revise these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Notification of changes to these Terms will be sent to the email address associated with your PreLeague account at which time you are expected to review such changes to ensure you understand all terms and conditions governing your use of PreLeague.
   
10. Assignment.
    PreLeague shall be permitted to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification or consent required. However, you shall not be permitted to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
    
11. Entire Agreement.
    These Terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on PreLeague, constitute the entire agreement between PreLeague and you in relation to your use of, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings made with PreLeague.
    
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction.
    These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the United State of America for the resolution of any disputes.

PreLeague, short for “prediction league”, is a platform where sports fans and enthusiasts compete in pick’em groups, leagues and contests. With the ability to pick games on a weekly basis, predictors enjoy enhanced interest in the sport they love by watching their picks perform in the biggest games of the week. A season-long prediction competition against other fans is a great way to follow the season and test your knowledge of teams in the league(s) of your choice.

In 2018, we opened a development version of the site while hosting NCAA football and NCAA basketball contests. In 2019, a beta version of the site will launch with more features and support for the NFL and NBA. In addition, users will be able to create their own custom entries, host groups with custom settings complete with entry statistics, standings and weekly score-sheets. A platform for humans is also one for computer models. A predictions section displays weekly game predictions from over 40 models in an easy to read format. Results are recorded and the models are ranked in standings to recognize the best performing systems from the sports analytics community. Information Collected

• Your personal information is not required to visit PreLeague.com
  
• Any personal information collected is knowingly provided by you and only when requested and/or required. This includes information collected during account registration for interactive participation on PreLeague.com, support form information, any comments submitted on the site, and any payment information during a checkout process.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.

Traffic Data

• Your IP address is a numeric address assigned to your computer, assigned by your Internet service provider. We automatically collect your IP address as traffic data so that we can send information back to you when requested. This is not used to identify your personal information.
  
• Referrers are references to the web address you linked from and is automatically passed along by your web browser. We collect referrers your browser sends as part of traffic data. This is not attached to any personally identifiable information.
  
• System information such as your operating system/platform, and the type of web browser you use. This is not attached to any personally identifiable information.

Account Information

• Your information is maintained on an industry standard secure web server located in a well protected environment.
  
• PreLeague only shares personal information to billing companies when you complete payment transactions and for no other purpose. No other information is shared with any other third-party company for any purpose, under any circumstance.
  
• PreLeague makes every effort to preserve your privacy. Personal information may be disclosed when required by law where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.

Media

Any uploaded files are publicly accessible unless stated otherwise. If you upload images, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

By default, WordPress does not include a contact form. If you use a contact form plugin, use this subsection to note what personal data is captured when someone submits a contact form, and how long you keep it. For example, you may note that you keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes, but you do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

PreLeague.com relies on “cookie” technology to allow you to re-access your registered account profile during a web session. Ads appearing on site may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by PreLeague and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Security

PreLeague.com takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information, their information is protected both online and off-line. We do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information is restricted in our offices. Only administrators who require information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. In addition, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment, in a locked facility.
